Marina Bay Sands – Exhibition Building

MICE Roof and Framing is one of the contracts awarded to Alfasi in the prestigious and high profiled Marina Bay Sands Project. It is at the southernmost portion of the whole Marina Bay Sands development and the biggest among the podiums. This massive 5-storey facility for meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) can accommodate 45,000 delegates, 2,000 exhibition booths and 250 meeting rooms, and contains Southeast Asia’s biggest ballroom.

It took Alfasi over 22,440 tons of structural steel to construct this mammoth like expo and convention facility including 86,000 square meters of metal decking. It has 36 meter long span trusses, mega columns and a curved roof steel structures. The fabrication of this enormous volume of steel was delivered utilizing our alliance fabricators in Australia,Thailand,Singapore and Malaysia.
